P.T. Enright, rider of Bobbythegangster trained by Donald Cashman, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a respiratory noise before being pulled up.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Slemish, trained by J.T.R.Dreaper, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

J.J. Slevin, rider of Flathertys Gap trained by Leonard Whitmore, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his saddle slipped and was subsequently pulled up.
